You guys. This series is just getting started with Scarlett's Mark. I'm hoping to do a video about it and post here and to Facebook within the next week. There's just so much I have to say about it. I couldn't stop adding and editing this book. (I'm sure it's still far from perfect, but I'm still very proud of it.) I delayed the e-book release a few times because I couldn't stop messing with it. Finally, I said enough is enough and stuck with my deadline and finally shared it will all of you. There is so much going on in this book that it was literally impossible to cover everything, but I promise you that Book 2 will answer any questions you have from Book 1- but it will also release all new mysteries.

Book 2 is already about half written and I'm telling you, I just can't wait to have this series be several books in. I have no idea why it took me so long to get back into writing. I absolutely, positively, freakin love it.

Scarlet's Mark Cover Reveal

It's here! It's here! I can finally unleash the pride and joy I've been working so diligently on. This book is unlike anything I've ever written before. A lot of research went into this. A lot of "stop over-analyzing" went into this. A lot of "create something new" went into this. Basically, I talked to myself a lot.

I had so much fun creating this cover. From the photography to the design, I honed over every detail. A special thank you to my model, Brooke ("Hollyn") and to my makeup artist, Taryn. For details on the look used on our model, please see notes* at bottom.

Hollyn West spent her young adult life craving a romance every girl longs for. But after several grave disappointments, she put all her dreams behind her and became unwilling to trust anyone again. 

With the help of close friends and new acquaintances, she chases secrets centuries old and discovers she is a descendant of the original white were-panther– making her royalty in the supernatural realm. Beta Readers and Street Team Members Needed

As I'm preparing for the release of Scarlet's Mark, I am in need of two things:

1. Beta readers.

A Facebook group has been created to keep everyone informed of the happenings before the general public knows. I am currently coming up with some pretty awesome things for this group like giveaways that include signed books, posters, and other merchandise that I'm really excited about. Cover Model Selected

A cover model was recently chosen to portray Hollyn, the lead in The Dark Hearts Saga. I could not be happier for her to join this "team" as her enthusiasm for this series is exactly what I'd hope for. Her test images have already hit Hollyn's character perfectly. I am so eager to photograph her for the cover release very soon.

We are also discussing maybe a little acting and video teasers for certain scenes from the book. I'm fully prepared to bring a good mix of images and video shorts to compliment this book series.

Dreams Do Come True

... or so I'm hoping. I'm being optimistic about my journey. Whether I'm successful in this endeavor or not, doesn't matter as much to me as much as how proud I am of my work and the friends I will meet (and have met thus far) along the way.

It has been my dream since I was very young, to be a published writer. I have published a few stories and one novel under a different name, but I am excited to branch into something somewhat newer with my debut series which is currently untitled. Yes, I am aiming for a July 2017 release, but have been having a very difficult time naming this series and the first book. I'm picky. Very picky to say the least. I have some ideas though and hope to release a name very soon. Please join my mailing list to stay up to date on such releases... I promise I won't be sending out more than an email or two a week.

It's a gorgeous day in Maryland today– high 80's! So I'm going to enjoy this day with the window open while I write... What? Did you think I was going to enjoy it outside? Ha. I'm a vampire. I'd burn.
